Those who find themselves in favor of doing cardio after weights will tell you that performing cardio before weights will make you weak. The truth is, your regular workout will have gone to waste in case you cannot continue with your weight exercises.</p>
<p>The problem with this? If you&#8217;re eating actually a remotely normal diet, you will possibly have a pound (about half a kg) of glycogen stored within your body for use as fuel.  It&#8217;s been proven through proper research that an hour on a treadmill will burn about 4 ounces (or 100 grams) of glucose.  This leaves you with 75% of your glucose stores intact to be used for strength training.  This is far more than what you would like for an intense workout. For people who are having doubts with this, try having energy drinks.&nbsp;</p>

But, as you&#8217;ve learned above, your body has more than enough energy up its sleeve to last through both, so this claim is properly null and void. </p>
<p>The other side of the coin?  Promoters of doing cardio before weight training have some valid points, plus a good amount of research to back them up. Good advocates, cardio requires great amounts of energy. After all; you need to achieve a minimum tolerance of intensity to make it worthwhile. No matter how much truth there is to it, cardioo workouts can still be done even after resistance training.</p>
<p>Where doing cardio before your workout really does well is in the following points:</p>
<p>EPOC or the amount used after a workout will be higher if you carried out cardio before performing some strength exercises.</p>
<p>Doing your cardio before strength training was from a physical standpoint easier than waiting around and doing your cardio after your workout.</p>
<p>According to some studies made at Brigham Young University , it is best that you do aerobic exercise first before you do any kind of strength exercises if you would like to do the two simultaneously.</p>

I don&#8217;t do cardio and weight training on a single, and this is based on my current training goals.  This is because my aim is to preserve the body fat and muscle level that I already have got. So it will be short, I am working out to keep my physique. If you have different goals, then have a different workout routine, look at the given routine below:</p>
<p>If your purpose is to lose as much fat as possible:</p>
<p>Change doing days of cardio and weight training with times of just cardio. Do your cardio before your weight training routine, as fat loss is your main goal, you want to dedicate 100% of your intensity to your cardio workouts.</p>
<p>If your target is to gain just as much lean muscle mass as you possibly can:</p>
<p>Do your cardio after your exercise routine, or on separate days. Strength training routine is our main focus here.</p>
<p>If you are planning to develop strength,</p>
<p>With this, cardio before workout is not suggested because you want to do some lifting weights. Ideally, I&#8217;d say you want to do cardio on a separate day in cases like this, but doing cardio after your workout can be an option &#8211; if you are up to it.</p>
<p>If your objective includes 2 or more of the above options:</p>
<p>Do what fits into your budget, or focus on whatever goal is most important to you.  There isn&#8217;t any right and wrong here.  Change it up on various days, you won&#8217;t be doing your body any harm.</p>
<p>If I were you, I will not spend my time thinking about this issue. Your physique will not be modified no matter what you do. For me, you will be the one to make a decision what to choose. If you feel more comfortable doing cardio before weights, then go ahead. Whenever you like otherwise, I am unable to see any reasons why you should not opt for it.</p>
